Rusiru Gunasena, SVP, Products and Strategy | THE CLEARING HOUSE

Rusiru Gunasena leads the product management and strategy team for The Clearing House’s RTP® network. In this role, Rusiru oversees the ongoing growth of the RTP network, a modern platform for real-time payments that connects banks, credit unions and fintech customers to move money with immediate payment confirmation.
Rusiru is a payments and fintech leader with more than 20 years of experience across multiple industries. He is a strong advocate for digital payment innovation and continues to influence the U.S. Payment Ecosystem by participating in various industry workgroups and committees.
Rusiru has experience as an entrepreneur and a diverse leader involved in start-up ventures and Fortune 100 companies worldwide across multiple industries. Prior to joining The Clearing House, Rusiru was the Managing Director of JHA PayCenter with responsibility for leading Jack Henry’s Faster Payments strategy and building a central payment hub for fintechs and financial institutions.

He holds an MBA from University of Louisville with an Entrepreneurship concentration and a bachelors degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Essex in the United Kingdom, where he was an honors recipient.

Dean Nolan, VP, Director of Faster Payments and Commercial Cards | FIFTH THIRD BANK

Dean Nolan serves as Vice President, Director, in the Treasury Management division of Fifth Third Bank, leading the bank’s Faster Payment line of business since 2019. His background includes more than 25 years of experience in payments, having previously led the Enterprise Payment Solutions, Commercial Card, and Merchant Services lines of business within Treasury Management and Debit, Prepaid, and HSA lines of business within the Consumer division of Fifth Third Bank.

Before joining Fifth Third, Dean held leadership positions in payments at Metavante/FIS, Bank of America, Wachovia/Wells Fargo, MasterCard, and most recently First Data/STAR. He’s also ventured into the start-up arena during his career, holding executive roles at a Series-B payment analytics software provider and a seed-funding cybersecurity company.

Arjun Singh, Chief Information Officer - Payments & Commercial | SANTANDER

Arjun Singh is the CIO for the Payments & Commercial businesses at Santander Bank N.A.
In the role, he is accountable for IT delivery & execution of Payments Services, Cash Management services (Payables & Receivables, Information Reporting, and Liquidity Management), Commercial Cards, Trade & Supply Chain Finance, and all forms of Commercial Lending & Leasing.

Prior to this role, he was the Managing Director and CIO for the Transaction Banking business at MUFG Americas, where he oversaw more than $100MM annual Technology budget to support a fast growing $1.4B revenue Business.

Earlier, he was at Citi for 11 years, in US and South Africa, and led the Technology Strategy and Roadmap, Design and Architecture, and Development & Maintenance of the Enterprise Platforms (Java, .Net and Mainframe) to support and grow Foreign Exchange & Cross Border Payments business. He was also the Head of Governance for Global Payments & Receivables Technology, the Head of Consumer Payments Technology for Treasury & Trade Solutions (TTS) and the Sub-Saharan-Africa Technology Projects Head.

Arjun started his corporate life at Virtusa and managed a number of complex system development, implementation and process transformation projects in Europe and Africa for over 5 years.
He graduated magna cum laude from Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani (INDIA) with a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical and an MBA in Finance.

Arjun is active in community service and has volunteered at Junior Achievements, Habitat for
Humanity and Food Bank of New Jersey.

Arjun lives in New Jersey, USA with his wife and two daughters.

Mike Walters, Chief Product Officer | FORM3

Mike joined Form3 as CPO and a founding member of the business in 2016.

He is responsible for the strategy, product development and product management as well as strategic initiatives and plays a key role in the business’ funding.

He is also a member of the Bank of England’s ‘Standard Advisory Panel’ - helping to shape the co-ordinated development of payments in the UK.

Prior to Form3 from Barclaycard Payment Acceptance (card acquiring) where, as Product Director, he was a member of the Executive Committee and responsible for P&L, product management, strategy development, vendor selection and management, digital transformation and M&A.

Prior to this, as Head of UK Corporate Payments for Barclays Corporate Bank, Mike held product management responsibility for all payment, receipting and reporting products delivered to Barclays corporate clients – this included defining the Barclays Corporate Bank mobile payments strategy and initiating, building and scaling multi-award winning mobile payment solutions.

Earlier in his career he managed client relationship teams responsible globally for the North American Financial Institutions and FTSE 250 sectors providing him with significant product and enterprise client experience domestically and internationally.
