Craig started his career in 1998 as an Auditor for Deloitte & Touche, LLP performing audits on financial service clients. From 2002 to 2004, Craig worked for Deloitte's Hong Kong member firm as a manager in their Audit practice leading the audits of several large Global insurance clients. Craig returned to the US taking the role of Senior Manager with Deloitte's Capital Markets practice where he supported clients with the accounting and valuation of complex financial instruments. From 2010 to 2014, Craig worked at AIG as the Head of Accounting Policy for their general insurance business and then as the Controller for AIG's Latin America Region. Directly prior to joining Swiss Re, Craig was the International Controller at W.R. Berkley Corp.

Craig D. Stevens joined Swiss Re in June of 2016 as the Head of Finance for the US Life and Health Reinsurance business. He is primarily responsible for the US GAAP, US Statutory and Economic Value Management reporting for the business.

Craig is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Connecticut.
