Erika Baumann serves as the Director of Datos Insights' Commercial Banking & Payments practice, focusing on payments and automation, including real-time payments and payables and receivables technology and solutions. She has over 15 years of experience in the commercial banking space, bringing expertise from both banking and fintech vendor positions. She has worked extensively with both U.S. and international banks, vendors, and the clients of each to identify market opportunities and implement technology solutions.

Ms. Baumann has presented her research at and for various conferences, including NACHA Payments, AFP, SIBOS, and many technology vendor user conferences across the globe. She has been quoted in various media outlets, including The Harvard Business Review, American Banker, Treasury & Risk, iTreasurer, PYMNTS.com, Banking Exchange, Payments Source, and The Paypers.

Stephanie Miracle, Product Director, FedNow Service | FEDERAL RESERVE FINANCIAL SERVICES

Stephanie Miracle serves in a leadership role on the product management team for the FedNow Service, a near real-time payment and settlement service under development by the Federal Reserve Banks to support instant payments in the United States. Miracle supports fraud mitigation capabilities being developed by the service, as well as supports industry readiness efforts specifically focused on adoption and innovation across the ecosystem of financial institutions, payment
service providers, and financial services providers to end-customers and businesses.

Prior to joining the Federal Reserve Banks, Miracle spent more than a decade working with financial institutions in various roles to drive customer engagement, improve data quality, and create compelling digital banking channels experiences. Her career has focused on customer’s journey with a passion for making the lives of consumers better with technology and helping businesses connect with their customers in more meaningful ways. Miracle holds a bachelor’s degree in English communications from William Woods University and an M.B.A from Baker University

Katja Heyder, Head of User Relations | EBA CLEARING

Katja Heyder is the Head of Marketing & User Relations at EBA CLEARING. After joining the company in 2006, she was instrumental in the implementation of the STEP2 SEPA Services. She also serves as regional representative for, among others, Austria, Germany and Switzerland, she has been responsible for EBA CLEAIRNG’s German-speaking market since 2011.

Peter Hazou - Director, Business Development, Financial Services | MICROSOFT

Peter Hazou is Director of Business Development at Microsoft in the Financial Services Industry team responsible for Payments and transaction banking globally. Prior to Microsoft, Peter was a payments industry banker for 30+ years in the EMEA region. He was the UK & EMEA Regional Head for GTB at HSBC as well as the CEEMEA Regional Head for GTS at Citigroup before that. He headed EMEA Market Management for Treasury Services at BNY Mellon in London and was Head of GTB Strategy at UniCredit in Milan. His background is in Product Management for Payments at Chase Manhattan Bank. He began his career in New York as a credit officer in correspondent banking at Manufacturers Hanover Trust.
