After having spent 10 years in consulting firms, focusing on liquidity, cash and treasury topics, Edouard Berthet has joined the Securities Services subsidiary of the BNP Paribas Group in 2008, in order to accompany the development of Securities Services franchise, especially in Asia, by building Treasury department in each new branch and reinforce the “Follow the sun” model of the bank.

Now in charge globally of all topics related to Treasury Forecast, Liquidity and Collateral Management of the bank, and more specifically Intraday Liquidity management within post-market infrastructures (CCPs, Central Banks, ICSD, T2S). Edouard is a key member of French association on High Value Payment and part of ECB expert group on HVP system (French AMI Pay National Stakeholder Group, Target Consolidation Contact Group).

Adriaan Bakker | Treasury Specialist - ING

In the last couple of years Adriaan has worked for ING developing cash and liquidity management solutions, realising ‘follow the sun’ principles in cash and liquidity management in Asia, implementing instant payments and on boarding CHAPS.

Adriaan is currently charge of developing the Utility Settlement Coin (USC) for Clearmatics for a consortium of banks. This DLT initiative will be a complete game changer for treasury, due to the operability, real time cash settlements and 24/7 operations
